You Do Not Know

You awake in the morning light
Hoping today will turn out all right
As you arise and get out of bed
You pray it is not a day you dread
You got out to the kitchen and turn on the pot
You have to make sure the Coffee is hot
As the coffee is starting to brew
You realize you have changed it is true
For those of you who do not know
We do not let our true feelings show
As you get dressed to start your day
You know it is going to be the same old way
You will be asked just how do you feel
They do not understand they think it is surreal
You do not know just how I suffer
Day by day and some are tougher
You do not know what is in my heart
You think I should be over it quit playing the part
You do not know the heartache and tears
That will be with me the rest of my years
You do not know about the sorrow and pain
You just lost your dog it is not the same
You do not know about the blame
You do not know about the shame
You do not know how much I have cried
You do not know that I wish I had died
You have not seen the death on their face
You do not want to take my place
Before you speak before you blink
Do not say a word until you think
You try your best not to show
Nothing will work You do not know
Listen to me now beleive me it is true
If you experience this it would devastate you
Just remember this after you go
Please do not ask You Do Not Know!
