Tomorrow

My mind seems blank, empty and bare
My heart seems numb I really don't care
How to survive when you lose some one
Be it a brother, sister, daughter or son
To us the grief we were left to survive
Was a shock to us when it did arrive
The loss and emptiness we now feel
Sometimes we wonder if it's real
Friends just don't seem to understand
What we have experienced first hand
The days and nights that goes slowly by
The loss and emptiness that makes us cry
The questions and answers, the if's and the why's
We will never know why they chose to die
To end their life in that tragic way
Was the ultimate price that they did pay
The pain and suffering they couldn't share
Was their downfall they couldn't bear
In my mind I can only say this to you my friend
My pain is nothing compared to theirs in the end
My heartache and grief will always follow
Just like my life feels empty and hollow
As the day ends and night sets in
Tomorrow it will start all over again
