Time slowly passes again as each new day arrives
Time flew by before a tragedy changed our live
Now it drags by very slowly each day
Your heart feels so empty you have nothing to say
You have cried and cried until the tears ran thin
Knowing that your heart was breaking within
Your emotions were dormant you didn't know
When this happened and how they would show
Your home your friends even work isn't clear
Why did our loved one have to disappear
Answers were search for but cannot find
Our thoughts run rampant right in our mind
Then your emotions make you feel youre to blame
All you do is cry and deal with all the pain
Time goes on and so must you
There is nothing that we can do
Life can be brutal and is real
Time alone will help us heal
It may take months it may take years
Then one day we will have no more tears
So my friend I write this for you to see
I know how you feel it happened to me
