We Are The Survivors!

We are the Survivors of a very tragic death in our life
Moments after this event our was now full of strife
You ask yourself why lord why me
Through tears so full you can not see
Your hearts is now aching and shattered with grief
You search for answer but you get no relief
Then all of a sudden the guilt trip does come
You think to yourself Lord what have I done
The last thing you see is the look on their face
You would rather it be you in their place
The shock of the moment soon wears itself thin
You think of somewhere else they could have been
No matter what you think or you feel
Somehow this seems it can not be real
As that day ends and a new one begins
The pain and sorrow start over again
This is how our life changed one day
But it doesn't have to be this way
We meet others that share the same fate
Like us they found them to late
Now we must look up above
God will bless us with his Love
Then one day our time will end
And we will be together again
You will greet me with a smile
As we embrace each other for a while
Now we have the rest of eternity
No one can separate you or me
