Today was a day I hadnt wished for
I thought of you and how I must endure
Each day ends and nighttime falls
You go to bed and stare at the walls
Visions run wild and play tricks on your mind
You are tired and weary yet you cant unwind
Questions you cant answer they wont leave you alone
Day and night they follow you even when you are at home
The mark you left on me when you decided your fate
Will haunt me forever because I was to late
What didn't I see what didnt I hear
Was I to blind or didnt lend an ear
I struggle each day to make sense of this
But I cant for I feel somethings amiss
Will it ever end I really dont know
I just wish you didnt have to go
This isn't easy I havent a clue
All I know is how much I miss you
If I die while Im asleep
Then I know we will meet
Till that happens I must survive
That is why I still am alive
