Remembering Father's day
Father's Day once filled with gifts and a card
Has become a day for us that will be hard
The happiness and joy we used to share
Has seemed to vanish like thin air
The tragic loss we must survive
Takes all our strength to be alive
A father's day begins anew
With thoughts of us missing you
We remember father's day past
Especially father's day last
Things have changed since that day
We can't celebrate in the same way
So I say these words to you
Remember them just like I do
Their memories are always there
Deep in our hearts where we care
To all the father's on this day
May peace and comfort come your way
