Our Group

We have met each other in this group
There is even a book called Chicken Soup
We have come all over from miles apart
The one thing we share is a shattered heart
We were living our life in a normal way
Until a tragic event changed us one day
Our normal lives were turned inside out
We had no clue what brought this about
Help we sought but none did we find
Everyone else thought we lost our mind
Friends and family all treat us the same
They just don't know who to blame
The questions and answers we don't know
But help and support is what you show
So when I'm down and feeling blue
I have our group and they are true
They don't criticize or complain
You know they share the same pain
To our group this I say
Thank you for a better day
