I have lost someone to Suicide so let me explain
What it is like to cope and live with such pain
The reason this happened I do not know
But what I found dealt me quite a blow
My life changed that day it happened so fast
Now all I have left is memories in the past
What could I have done to prevent this fate
When I found him I was 5 hours to late
I talked with him only hours before
I did not know he would be no more
As I grabbed him to cut him down
I laid his lifeless body on the ground
I called 911 and this is what I said
I found my son hanging but he is already dead
I went back outside and knelt by his face
I looked into his eyes they said he left this place
I felt no pain as I was in Shock
Later that day it hit me like a Rock
My pain and grief is deep and don't show
But here and now I am letting you know
I pray to God to help me understand
And ask not to let you stand where I Stand
My hope for you is that today
You never experience what I had to say
