My Prayer

Dear God in Heaven above
I pray to thee that I Love
Bless me with your Inner Peace
Take away all my pain and grief
I am suffering so much you know
Everyone sees it because it shows
Send an Angel to me each day
To guide me in your loving way
You have gave me a cross to bear
All I ask is you to share
The burden and sorrow that I feel
We both know this is real
Once again I ask God today
Forgive me Lord take my sins away
Help through my troubles and strife
So I can heal and start a new life
Give me the strength to carry on
As I wake up with each new dawn
Thank you God for hearing my plea
You sent an Angel to rescue me
I thank thee Lord up above
For Blessing me with your Love
And when my time is drawing near
I will see your path it is so clear
My loved ones will be there waiting for me
Because of your promise of Eternity
