My Dear Mother

My dear mother you mean the world to me
Your love and understanding makes me so happy
As I gaze into your eyes that sparkle like the dew
Fills my heart with love that I only have for you
You watched me grow from a child to womanhood
I know that you are proud of me just like a mother would
For me it is the opposite as I learn from you this way
It is you that has taught me this how to love and how to pray
So mother dear it's time for me to tell you how I feel
My love for you is undying this I know is real
These words I write to you today to tell you what I know
To tell you how much you mean to me and how I love you so
