I know because I have tried.
Neither would A million tears.
I know because I have Cried.
A million dollars would not bring you Back
I know because I know you Died.
So now I think of things and wonder where you are
Maybe that is you up there a bright new shining star
Words I want to say to you that you will never hear
Of just how much you meant to me and how you were so dear
I talked with you that nite before the tragic day
Not knowing on not hearing what you tried to say
My heart is broken and filled with grief and pain
Now I torture myself I think that I'm to blame
Then someone new I met wrote a poem for me
He tried to open my eyes so that I could see
The pain and devastation that I now endure
God will guide my way because his word is pure
