Lost In Thought 1

Lost in thought your mind runs wild
The pain is deep not even mild
Day after day it's the same old grind
Night after night thoughts run through your mind
Looking for a sign something to see
Trying to get answers that will never be
Nobody understands the extent of our loss
Not even our friends let alone our boss
You wonder what's next in life for you
At this point in time you don't want a clue
You have to go on day after day
Who cares what others may have to say
Get on with life it's a done deal
If only they knew just how real
When you are alone and lost in thought
That is when we often get distraught
Our lives have changed since that tragic day
For this is the price we have to pay
There was no question not even a choice
Nothing was said not even a voice
We are lost in thought as our mind plays games
For we know our lives will never be the same
