Sometime in our life things happen for a reason
Or could it be that it's the right season
I don't know what time I have left on earth
To do the things to make my life show its worth
But comes a time when all seems lost
We pay the price and don't know its cost
I can not be measured in dollars and cents
Nor can we find just compensence
We search for answers about their fate
All we know is that we were to late
What did we miss what did we fail to see
Why is life being so cruel to me
What didn't I do where did I go wrong
Now I must survive and try and be strong
The road is long and winds that way
We are lost in grief few words to say
We look for signs from up above
From someone we lost and truly love
As the days go by and time does change
Everything is cloudy and seems so strange
Our hearts once full but now in pain
Our mind wanders and seems to wane
The road seems longer and winding still
It's a never ending battle all uphill
We seek solace in our despair
Life is cruel it just isn't fair
Survive we must there is no choice
All we can do is use our voice
To share with others all the pain
Whose life is like ours just the same
Only they can truly understand
How we feel and whats at hand
The loss we share is beyond belief
Only they can share our grief
So when your road seems long and bare
Remember us those that care
