Dreary Day

As I gaze outside my window
The rain is falling ever so slow
A warm breeze brings the rain
As it tries to wash away your pain
Days like this makes you want to shout
To tell the world what it is all about
Your pain and agony runs so deep
At times all you want to do is weep
What did we do to deserve such a fate
By what happened to us on that date
The rain still falls from the grey sky
As I sit here and still wonder why
Days like this makes things so real
It strains your emotions and how you feel
The day feels bitter and the sun is not there
We feel like our lost one just did not care
For in my heart I know this is pure
Their life on earth they could not endure
Their last breath as they left this earth
That they had nothing on any worth
My pain is deep and my heart is broken
My life has changed just like a token
So if today you seem to feel this way
Please stop and think then start to pray
Please just ask God above
To bless with his precious Love
Your faith in God should not go astay
So try and be strong on this weary day
If you feel weak and down in the dumps
God will take you over all your bumps
I write these words to you today
To Say I Love You In a Special Way!
