As night time ends and a new dawn is in sight
Then darkness fades with dawns early light
Dawns early light signals a new day to begin
As the first rays of sunlight begin to trickle in
The flowers are closed like a cocoon
Wait for the dawn so they can bloom
The dew is wet and it seems to be
Like tears from heaven shed for me
As the dawns early light turns into a new day
All the animals awaken and begin to play
The chirps and sounds don't sound like words
The music they make does not go unheard
We arise out of bed to begin a new day
You are alive because life is that way
Smell the freshness of the cool morning air
Life is like that it just does not care
Time goes on for it does not stand still
A new day has begun like it always will
