A Picture

A picture they say is worth a thousand words
When someone takes there life we think it is absurd
Then reality comes knocking on your front door
With a tragedy that will haunt you forever more
Time they say is on our side
Though tears we shed now are dried
What can you do to correct this fate
We did not know until it was to late
Their pain and agony caused their defeat
You must be quiet you must be discreet
Now you picture this in you mind
What did you miss what didnt you find
Over and over this consumes you each hour
You pray for help and all of Gods power
How do you go on how do you survive
You feel so helpless yet you are alive
Days go on and the nights go by
Some days are good others you still cry
You fight with yourself to make sense of this
When all you want is peace and some bliss
Your friends and your family all mean well
They dont understand your personal hell
That picture they said that was worth a thousand words
Is now just a memory that will never be heard
