Even though we have never met
Your thoughts of me I will never forget
A hug you sent to me today
Left me speechless of words to say
The tragic event I must endure
Is now with me forever more
Such a tragic way to meet
When we are down in defeat
It feels as if the world has fallen apart
The pain is heavy in our shattered heart
But the solace that we soon find
Is from friends like you who are so kind
