I remember the day that you arrived
So tiny and small yet so much alive
I was so happy I just wanted to shout
To tell everyone what life is about
I fed you , changed you and holding you so tight
I knew in my heart everything was just right
The days flew by and they turned into weeks
You learned how to crawl on your hands and feet
The one day you started to speak
One word was said and very weak
A tear came down with love as you heard
Your baby was saying their own first word
It's baby's first christmas and everything is right
As the your baby just stares at all the bright lights
A few months pass and the baby starts to walk
They have learned and few words and try to talk
The years pass by and it time to start school
To teach your child about the golden rule
About love and honor and how to obey
As each day passes and becomes a new day
These are the days we always remember
Be it April, June or even December
When you are down and feel insecure
Remember this time forever more.
You know in you mind this time has past
Our memories of this will always last
A day to remember is what I say
A day to remember your baby this way
