There comes a time in one's life we know
When God calls us and we must go
We leave behind this troubled place
God will meet us face to face
All the things we leave on earth
Is gone forever and has no worth
Our loved ones left behind won't know
It was our time and we had to go
They will weep and they will mourn
Even some may want to scorn
I did not chose the time to die
Please stop grieving and asking why
I seen the light from God's pure love
I knew it was time for me above
When you look at the stars and think of me
I had a date with God to live for eternity
God greeted me with love that shown on his face
You have earned you wings in my eternal place
So now it's time for me to do
Be a Guardian Angel to watch over you
